Packing Day.

Not snowing here. Yesterday was my absolutly last day at the fuzz, said bye to the crew and started my new job, which i like to call, "Put 100 kilos of stuff into a 30 kilo bag."
The first thing ive decided to leave behind is the cochroaches, which having heard we were moving to europe have declared a free for all. They've stared moving their stuff in to our room.
Luke is thinking of charging them rent, while nova is experimenting with seeing how flat she can get them, by hurling shoes at them.
Were having a going away drink on tuesday the 3rd of Feb at the trinity.

9 days to go.

In the last week, nova and i have stopped a screwdriver fight, farewelled our germans (yeah for bathroom time) finished work (we've both got a couple more days to do) caught up with geoff and rach and started thinking about packing.

Emma and Amy flew out this morning to amsterdam. Their going via honolulu and vancouver.
Nova and i rented a car for 3 days. Novas going to pick it up this afternoon and then take it to canberra tomorrow to get a UK working visa. That way if korea falls through she wont have any hassels in london.
Were going to keep the car for the weekend and take Gen and Lisa to the Hunter Valley on the wine trail.

Plans..

Today is saturday the 10th of January 2004. Im sitting im Nova and my room at 25 Ridge St writing this on my PC cause my laptop just blew up. Again. Note to self never buy acer again.
On thursday Emma is flying to amsterdam, holland, with Aimee to finish her degree. A couple of weeks later Nova and i are flying to London, via a 6 month stop over in Seoul.
Novas looking for an english teaching job, and im looking for an english speaking job.

Its working..

Im setting this blog up so Emma can edit it as well. Ive also moved it onto my trusty suburbia account.

In addition ive set up simon.vc so that anything@simon.vc will reach me, but that doesnt appear to be working just yet..

One month to go....

The jazz is playing, the birds are chirping, and the clock is ticking. In month from today, Nova and i are saying adios to ridge st and flying to the frozen hermit kingdom of korea.
Part of me will be sad to see the back of Surry Hills (again), but i have a feeling that its time.
Had dinner with Geoff and Rach last night, its been 6 years since i met Fry, and it doesnt seem nearly that long.
