Kate Greenways old house is our new house.

This lovely old looking building on upper street will hopefully be the new home of Simon, Nova, Chris and Janelle. We should be moving the weekend after next. Its above a shop about 5 minutes walk up upper street from angel tube. Its got 2 lovely big rooms, lots of light, and is in the middle of the nicest part of north london. Close to lots of bars, restarunts, a park. There's fire station just across the road incase i get the urge to make toast. Its pretty much perfect. We looked at about 10 places didn't like any of them before this one. Kate Greenway, the rather famous illustrator lived here in the late 1800's

Amsterdam again

Yesterday was queens day. Queensday is nuts. The entire population of Holland, and i suspect some of the other surrounding nations, packs into amsterdam and her canals and gets drunk.
And all the locals come up with insane ways to amuse people.
Emma and i raced bugs, banged nails into blocks of wood, watched as people threw eggs at each other, posed as lesbians to get in a magazine (just emma and her mate gabriel, that one), got more drunk, watched 2 year old elvis impersonators, human poker machines and russian brittany spears impersonators.
